JOB DESCRIPTION:
PDF Seal is searching for a Press Assistant to contribute to the success of our production of foil lids at our facility in Hauppauge, NY location. Responsibilities include the following:
* Maintain the mounting and ink area in a clean and organized manner
* Mixing ink to required specifications
* Mount and de-mount plates
* Move materials and supplies within the facility to support production
* Set up jobs according to specifications of order
* Assist with press clean up
* Maintaining the ink shelf
* Adhere to company GMPs and perform job is a safe manner
* Perform job according to written company standard operating procedures
* Other duties as assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma preferred
* 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
* Excellent attendance and punctuality
* Good communication skills to follow instructions, preferably in English
* Able to work independently and with a team
* Flexible and organized
* Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
* Good interpersonal skills to successfully interact with team members
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
* Flexible and dedicated to doing what it takes to get the job done
