We are currently searching for dedicated Press Brake Operators to join our team. Our unique work schedule sets us apart - we operate Monday through Thursday, with four 10-hour workdays and no weekends! This schedule allows our team members to enjoy an extended weekend, fostering a healthier work-life balance. What is a Press Brake? A press brake is a machine pressing tool for bending sheet and plate material, most commonly sheet metal. It forms predetermined bends by clamping the workpiece between a matching punch and die. Typically, two C-frames form the sides of the press brake, connected to a table at the bottom and on a movable beam at the top. The bottom tool is mounted on the table, with the top tool mounted on the upper beam. In this role, you will: Operate and set up Press Brake machines Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards Read and decipher blueprints Have opportunity to cross train into different departments (laser, punch, weld, and machining) Other duties as assigned To succeed in this role, you must: Accurately work with calipers, squares, gauges, protractors and other measuring tools Have good math ability and problem solving skills Read and interpret blueprints efficiently Stand continuously and lift objects up to 50 pounds Demonstrate safety in the press brake operation process Apply online today for consideration-let's build a successful future together!
