Experienced Press Brake Set Up / Operator
Full-time job duties and Responsibilities:
* Following Press Brake process standard operating procedure
* Accurately entering quantities into the computer
* Using inspection devices to inspect parts, according to print and product inspection plan
* Making small, mathematically calculated, angle corrections
* Orienting the part correctly Picking tooling, as identified in the CNC program, from tooling inventory
* Loading tooling in the order identified in the CNC program
* Reading the print fully to understand tolerances, geometry, material thickness and specialinstructions
* Reading job order for special instructions
* Wearing proper protective equipment, as directed by equipment or process
* Understanding safety requirements in every area, and complying
* Using material data sheets effectively
Skills and Specifications:
* CNC interface
* Ability to read blueprints, and measuring tools
* Basic geometry concepts able to calculate negative and positive adjustments
* Basic computer skills manufacturing software programs
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* High standard of attention to detail.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize work in an effective manner.
* Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
* Adaptability and Initiative
Education and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in Press brake, CNC experience
* Blue print reading
* High School diploma or equivalent
