Work for our client that is a specialty manufacturer supplying data center products Summary: Press Brake Setup 1st and 2nd shiftThis role is a skilled position responsible for setting up and operating and AMADA press brake. Job Duties:-Set up programs and perform brake operations on AMADA style brake machinery according to specifications of work orders and fabrication prints/drawings without supervision -Perform brake operations on AMADA style brake machinery according to specifications of work orders and fabrication prints/drawings without supervision-Read and interpret mechanical drawings or fabrication prints as needed for accurate and safe brake operation-Understand and calculate bend deduction allowances as required to properly and safely set up AMADA air bend tooling-Follow work order directions and safely produce required quantity of parts efficiently and within the required tolerance and cosmetic quality-Perform 'in-process' inspections to prove dimensional tolerance and complete related documentation-Confirm operations in ERP system-Adhere to all company safety regulations, including those regarding machine operation and proper guarding-Complete production orders after initial setup and production order documentation-Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment-Perform preventative maintenance on assigned brake press equipment-Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications-Inform supervisor of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem-Follow instructions as provided by supervisor-Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area-Other duties as assignedJob RequirementsRequirements: -High School diploma or equivalent is required-A minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal precision press brake operations is required-A minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred-Ability to read and interpret blueprints or mechanical drawings involving brake operations -Knowledge of how to safely set up and run AMADA style Brake machinery or AMADA ASTRO robotic brake machinery -Ability to operate machines safely and properly-Familiarity with shop equipment such as table, panel and chop saws and kick and drill presses-Ability to work overtime when required -Ability to arrive promptly for shift and stand and/or walk for duration of shift is required-Ability to hear, speak, kneel, bend and use a step ladder or stool is required-Ability to lift 45 pounds is required-Ability to work in a manufacturing environment is requiredPay Rate Range - 25-28 per hourSam Twilley...@synerfac.comSynerfac Technical StaffingPhone: 732-###-####Fax: 732-###-####
