We are currently seeking a Press Break Operator (1st Shift) at our Eastford, CT Facility. Pursuit Aerospace is a contract manufacturer of high quality formed, precision machined and fabricated aerospace parts. We have been in business for over 50 years and have consistently produced top quality products for companies in over a dozen countries. We're looking for top notch candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, who are looking for a Position entails general sheet metal fabrication including:
- Set up, program and operate press brakes independently
- Perform set up inspection and buy-off for less skilled operators.
- Straighten parts to B/P specifications
- Assembles product as required using rivets and rivet gun
- Inspect own work using basic inspection equipment
- Able to train other less skilled employees
- Continuously improves efficiency and quality of others' work
- Provide Leadership to the department
- Responsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc. according to Company policy.
- Maintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheets.
