About Our Opportunity We are seeking a Press Helper for our Louisville manufacturing facility. A Press Helper is responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Press Department with print design set up, operation, clean up, and staging materials.Responsibilities
- Must become familiar with technical aspects of the press and be able to assist troubleshoot printing issues.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Prepping roll stocks to load into the printing press.
- Preparing finished rolls for inventory.
- Responsible for complete and efficient print changeovers.
- Responsible for inspection and maintenance of printing equipment.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- Experience working with Printing Press in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Flexibility to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
