OverviewFAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP. - LOCATED IN WALLKILL, NEW YORKWe will train the right candidate to join our team to support production in the Press Room!Basic math skills needed but no experience required!Days and Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pmBenefits for Full Time Employees:Salary Range: $18.90/hr - $20.38/hr dependant on expereinceMedical, Dental and Vison insuranceEmployer Sponsored Health Savings Account (HSA)401(k) plan with Employer MatchPaid VacationPaid Sick TimeEmployee Assistance ProgramResponsibilitiesReview work orders to determine the required stock and quantity needed at each machineUtilizing hand and/or powered lift trucks assist with stocking each press for upcoming jobsstock should be in designated areas and organized.Supply and replenish powder and refractory to all pressesRecord and maintain inventory transactions using CMS / ERP for proper control of powdersTransfer pressed parts along with Work Order Packets to kiln departmentRetrieve and transfer powder when powder supply levels are low.Prepare the press for set-up, which may include draining hoppers or removing tools.Must be able to conduct physical testing of incoming powder, such as bulk density test, flow test, moisture test, and sieve testRetain parts and powder after testingKeep powder room and powder areas neat and orderlyCommunicate with other team members, written and/or verbally, issues concerning powder supply or general press machine functionsPrepare and set up materials needed for 2ndshiftOther non-essential duties may be assigned as necessaryFollow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair Rite is certifiedFollow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy.QualificationsMinimum Education / Experience Requirements:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)No required experience -- will train right candidatePreferred Education / Experience Requirements:Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate with a minimum of 0 – 3 months on the job training and or experience related to Press DepartmentRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be able to operate a forkliftMust be able to comprehend work ordersBasic mathematical skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to operate CMS / ERP systemAbility to effectively read, write and verbally communicate in EnglishAbility to work independently under general guidelines and supervisionRequires ability to navigate through defined computer screensCompany WebsiteWWW.FAIR-RITE.COMCompany ProfileFair-Rite Products Corp. is a family-owned business that was formed in 1952 in Wallkill, New York USA.
