Lasko Products, an industry leader of home environment products for over 100 years, is hiring for a Press Technician for 2nd Shift in our Franklin, TN facility. The Lasko Press Setup Technician plays an important role in the smooth operation of the press department. Key responsibilities of the position include installing and removing metal stamping dies, troubleshooting minor equipment issues throughout the department, and adjusting as necessary, changing out shanks, and electrodes and adjusting weld parameters as needed to ensure proper quality of parts produced.This is a hands-on plant floor position located in Franklin, TN.Essential Functions
- Installing and removing dies as needed for repair or change overs
- Troubleshooting and adjusting dies as needed
- Troubleshooting and adjusting the metal bender to ensure proper quality of parts
- Troubleshooting and adjusting metal feeders as needed
- Adjusting weld parameters and weld gun location as needed to ensure proper quality of parts
- Changing out tips, guns, shanks, as needed. Performing coil changes
- Responsible for ensuring machines run at optimum cycle time to ensure production targets are met
- Accurately completing production logs, quality check sheets, hourly tracking boards and downtime paperwork
- Responsible for ensuring machines and work desks are clutter free and areas around machines are clean - free of water, oil and scrap coil
- Responsible for ensuring the machines are producing quality parts as per quality standards by performing periodic checks using gages, weld check tools, etc.
- Ability to operate all presses in the press department
- Must have a sense of urgency
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to work around loud equipment.
- Must be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must possess basic knowledge of tools.
