Press Shop Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the hydraulic and mechanical press equipment. We specialize in the manufacture and distribution of a complete line of pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications since 1913. With five locations across the U.S., our supports have been specified and installed on major water treatment, pharmaceutical, process piping, petro-chemical, hospitals, and school buildings as well as many other industrial projects throughout the world. Essential Duties:
- Operate press equipment in accordance with the work order
- Assist the department foreman in meeting production targets
- Maintain quality standards
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for repairs to the facility or equipment
- Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
Shifts Available:
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience a plus
- Must be able to measure quickly and accurately
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Basic computer knowledge
- Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8-hour shift
- Good working knowledge of figures and numbers
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds)
