YOUR OPPORTUNITY

The Director, Prestige Sales is a leadership role in which you will drive not only the development but also the execution of key strategic initiatives across our markets. You will ensure alignment with our national prestige brands and support the commercial team with identifying opportunities for scalable local activations and execution of themed activities and events such as concerts, festivals, and other commercial wins. You will develop strong partnerships with Brand & Customer Marketing teams to ensure the commercial teams have the necessary tools and assets to win in the marketplace. You will be located in New York, NY or Miami, Florida.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You, alongside the CBU field sales directors, will champion the business priorities by steering focus in the right areas to drive ROS and excellence in execution while ensuring that our team has the proper tools to deliver on our big bets.
  • You will balance regional with National Big Bets whilst aligning prestige brand priorities and ensuring operational management with Regional Directors and State Managers to ensure consistency in execution of events.
  • You will lead the effective commercialization of regional and local activities and events that drive commercial success and memorable experiences for Prestige brands.
  • You will work with the prestige brand teams and customers to strategically forecast the planning of events based on business priorities.
  • You will serve as the key point of contact and communication throughout the region regarding local sponsorships, customer events, consumer events, and activations not covered by the brand team such as concerts, festivals, etc.
  • Develop and implement strategies for event execution, including drink strategy and brand activations, ensuring alignment with the brand strategy.
  • Own and adhere to the assigned budget and territory diligently with the other Prestige Directors to ensure costs are in line and appropriate.
  • Oversee creative and activation agencies to deliver first class ideas, activations and events.
  • Align with Prestige brand teams on creation of tools and strictly adhere to brand governance while leading the creative development of activations and tools that drive commercial performance and deliver against both brand and commercial objectives.
  • Work with Customer Marketing and CP&A for creation of tools, promotional pieces and other support items as needed.
  • Provides clear and comprehensive recap and reporting on the delivery of programming and results to the broader business.
  • Enhance prestige brand presence among consumers by deepening customer relationships and fostering stronger engagement.
  • Frequent travel required (70%).
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years' experience in leadership, sales, brand marketing and/or trade marketing preferably in the Spirits and/or overall Beverage industry. Event planning and execution preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with cross functional experience.
  • Your ability to operate and orchestrate seamlessly within the matrix will be critical for success in this role and of the function.
  • Ability to combine a strategic business approach while overseeing projects across multiple states.
  • Strong creative skills along with keen problem solving necessary.
  • The base salary range listed for this position is $163,193- $244,737 and the salary within the range will be determined by the successful candidate's location, experience, skillset and other relevant factors.
