Then We Have the Opportunity for You! Our Prevailing Wage Coordinator is responsible for:
  • Monitoring and enforcing compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage regulations on all applicable projects.
  • Completing, reviewing, and submitting certified payroll reports for all prevailing wage projects.
  • Staying updated on changes to prevailing wage laws and ensure these are communicated to all relevant employees on the project.
  • Maintaining accurate records of wage determinations, payroll documentation, and project-related correspondence for audit purposes.
  • Conducting regular audits of payroll submissions to ensure correct wage rates, classifications, and proper reporting of hours worked.
  • Investigating and resolve discrepancies in wage payments, addressing any concerns from laborers, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Educating contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams on prevailing wage requirements, payroll procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Serving as the point of contact regarding prevailing wage requirements, compliance, and inquiries.
  • Assisting in reviewing contracts to ensure wage compliance clauses are included and adhered to by all involved parties
  • Collaborating with the HR team to identify areas for improvement in HR processes and procedures. Provide input and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assisting with payroll processing tasks including data entry and verification, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Contributing actively to various HR projects and initiatives such as assisting in any employee surveys and participating in events team meetings and activities.
  • Providing assistance with other duties within the HR department as necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of HR operations.

Salary is based on Skills and Experience Military Friendly, DFWP, EOE Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years of Prevailing Wage experience required
  • At least 1-3 years of human resources experience required
  • Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Conforms with the core values of BPS
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Ability to build a trusting rapport with employees

  • Exhibits excellent judgment; ability to manage confidential information
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and strong attention to detail
  • Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher) HRIS Databases, data entry
  • Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug and credit checks
