Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial and industrial customers.POSITION OVERVIEW:This sales position drives the growth of Preventative Maintenance Contracts throughout the business lines of G.E. Mechanical, including HVAC, Refrigeration and Plumbing with a focus on finding new business prospects and new markets. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through researching and identifying potential clients. The goal is to increase the service department's recurring revenue and nurturing long-term customer relationships while marketing our company's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.RESPONSIBILITIES:Proactively source and follow up with new leads and referralsCreate and implement a detailed prospecting plan to include sales activities and KPIsAnalyze existing business to identify customers who would benefit from preventative maintenance servicesDemonstrate a clear understanding of the company's service and equipment offerings to instill confidence, loyalty, and trust in the customersCommunicate professionally to educate customers on the advantages of preventative maintenance services and contractsEstimate, negotiate and present preventative maintenance contracts with customers, ensuring understanding of terms, pricing, and the value of the services offered using company estimating templatesMaintain regular communication with the customers to foster and retain relationshipsStay updated on industry trends and seek opportunities for growth and improvementProvide reports to management regarding sales activities, customer interactions, updates on new and existing contracts, etc.Collaborate with service department personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution, scheduling, conflict resolutions, and reporting/administration of service contractsMaintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product informationWork with management to meet company goals and deliverablesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience:Experience in B2B salesExperience in cold calling and prospectingHVACR/Plumbing/Mechanical Sales ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED and two (2) years' experience in mechanical sales or related field Availability as needed for afterhours email and phone calls.Preferred QualificationsExperience using a CRMExperience using Lead Generation softwareAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentVerbal & written communication skillsAttention to detail and organizationProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & OutlookAbility to work as a team player** REWARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE ***Competitive Salary, commensurate with experience plus commission Company paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesG.E.
