We are currently looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our growing team Preventative Maintenance Technicians' attention to detail and ability to solve problems will be critical to completing regular inspections, repairs, reporting and more. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position, with an on-call emergency maintenance rotation. Preventative Maintenance Technician Benefits: Uniforms, tools, work phone and company vehicle provided Company vehicle only used during work or on-call hours Paid Holidays Paid Time Off & Sick Days Employee Resource Program Profit Sharing 401(k) w/ company match Medical, vision, dental, disability & life insurance Room for advancement in a growing company Free parking Employee Appreciation Events Company sponsored sports teams, book club, and more Preventative Maintenance Technician Compensation: $17.00-$19/hour Preventative Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Include: Completing Preventive Maintenance inspections Quarterly in-unit inspections Observing and reporting conditions of units, assets, equipment Make ready/turnovers Assisting with inventory management Collaborating with multiple teams, departments, vendors Adapting to changing priorities across multiple sites Driving company vehicle to multiple sites Providing superb customer service to residents, vendors, teammates, etc. Preventative Maintenance Technician Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Familiarity with iPhone One year's experience in: light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC trouble shooting, apartment turnovers/make ready, facilities maintenance, carpentry, painting or similar field Comfortable with hand tools Interested in training opportunities Ability to meet physical requirements: The position is considered to have moderate to heavy physical demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to climb up to nine feet on ladders, work in overhead structures, walk, stand, twist, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel at least 90% of the workday. The employee will occasionally be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 100 pounds and frequently be required to lift, carry and/or move in excess of 50 pounds during the normal course of a workday.
