Plastipak is looking for an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician at our plastics facility in Harve de Grace, MD. This is a Direct Hire position that offers paid training and opportunities for advancement. Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician Location: Harve de Grace, MD Pay: $27/hr Shift: 7a-3:30pm M-F What's in it for you: Direct Hire: Join our team on a permanent basis. Set Schedules: Mon-Fri schedule, day shift What you'll be doing: Perform maintenance for either extrusion or Sidel manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices & procedures Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences Requirements: High school diploma, GED or equivalent 3 years of Maintenance experience required , extrusion strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics Welding/fabrication experience a plus PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience is a bonus Plastipak is an Equal Opportunity Employer In order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
