Join our team and help us make a difference in the community!Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Merchandise Pricer to join our team. The Merchandise Pricer will be responsible for evaluating, pricing, and tagging items for sale on the sales floor. This role is crucial in ensuring that our merchandise is priced fairly and attractively to meet the needs of our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and price incoming donations based on condition, brand, market demand, and store guidelines.
- Tag and display merchandise on the sales floor in an organized and appealing manner.
- Keep up to date with pricing trends and competitive pricing in our industry.
- Assist with sorting, organizing, and categorizing donated items.
- Maintain a clean and orderly pricing area and workspace.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
- Follow all store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, pricing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make fair pricing decisions.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and move items of various sizes and weights.
