Pricing Analyst 3 Job ID 2024-11892of Openings1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Operations Overview The Pricing Analyst drives the company's corporate pricing initiatives by applying financial acumen subject matter expertise and cross-functional business knowledge to establish individual and collective pricing strategies. What you will be doing Drive the planning, development and implementation of the company's global pricing strategies Utilize independent research regarding market and competitive trends to boost current pricing knowledge and advise key stakeholders on potential impact of price changes Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership, typically within an established framework, to establish appropriate price points for new products, solutions, services, or major initiatives, based on business cases, field-level input, and market research Provide data driven analysis to internal stakeholders on the financial health of pricing initiatives Manage the communications process though a product lifecycle, including handoff to internal pricing support for all new and existing products in order to maintain operational readiness Establish pricing methodology and value messaging Use data to propose areas of opportunity to increase revenue and profit Ensure value messaging is distributed both externally and internally to ensure pricing recommendations are successful Provide internal customer service and resolution to complex pricing issues Mentor, coach and train other team members Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in related field such as: Pricing, Business, Technology, Data Analytics, Finance, Product Management Certified Pricing Professional is a plus Strong attention to detail Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within a team as well as other areas Strong customer service capabilty Strong experience with Microsoft Office suite of products Knowledge of ERP Systems Strong oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact Strong problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills Strong ability to conduct independent research using a variety of sources Strong ability to develop pricing methodologies Strong ability to develop, use, and deliver engaging, informative and compelling presentations.
