DescriptionWe are looking for an innovative pricing analyst to increase our business's competitiveness and profitability. As a Pricing Analyst you will play a crucial role in analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and internal data to develop effective pricing strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure that our products/services are priced competitively while maximizing profitability. To ensure success as a pricing analyst, you should possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience in a similar role. An accomplished pricing analyst is someone who can translate pricing data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies. This will include conducting market research to learn more about competitor pricing for similar items, reviewing previous sales data and company revenue needs while deciding a market price for a range of products based on your findings.
Job Responsibilities - Management and execution of the pricing strategy by channel.
- Applying statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
- Act in concert with the Sr. Director of Strategic Pricing, Pricing Manager, product marketing, purchasing buyers and sales organization to ensure integrated and profit maximizing approach to market.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
- Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
Additional Job Responsibilities - Analyze sales and competitive data to identify opportunities and assist in the development of alternate strategies to maximize sales, market share and profit opportunities.
- Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
- Utilizing pricing optimization software, develop models that drive group performance to meet company KPI's
Continued ResponsibilitiesAdded ResponsibilitiesQualifications - 1+ years in sales, merchandising, marketing, finance, or supply chain.
- Associates degree or experience in business, marketing, supply chain, finance or related field a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Power Point.
- Excellent research, diagnostic and analytical skills
- Goal oriented with the ability to meet productivity objectives and deadlines.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of tires, wheels, and related items is a plus.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Experience and working knowledge of SAP.
- Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates ability to work well with others & various related groups.
