Job Overview
This is an in-person role in our Victor, NY office. We are looking for an innovative pricing analyst to increase our business's competitiveness and profitability. In this role, you will be preparing strategic pricing models, monitoring market conditions and trends, and comparing the outcomes of different pricing strategies.
To ensure success as a pricing analyst, you should possess sound knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods and experience in a similar role. An accomplished pricing analyst is someone who can translate pricing data into actionable profit-enhancing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic customer pricing models
- Monitor market trends and industry condition as it relates to waste services pricing
- Adjust customer pricing where possible as vendor costs change
- Manage and implement annual price increases
- Create reports reflecting metrics and project status as required
- Communicate effectively to relevant departments of the company
- Work with the sales and relationship management team to define and implement pricing models
- Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Excel at intermediate level and comfortable with all other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Salesforce helpful
- Experience using an ERP system, NetSuite preferable
- Experience working as a pricing analyst in the waste industry a plus
- Strong knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends
- Keen eye for identifying opportunity
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good negotiations and problem-solving skills
- Effective reporting and presentation skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive team player
- Able to sit in front of a computer screen for long hours every day
Compensation details: 70000-75000 Yearly Salary
