Pricing AnalystThe Pricing Analyst is responsible for the development and preparation of price/cost volume responses, data calls and requests for proposals (RFPs), analyzing contract requirements, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with data call/ RFP requirements and corporate objectives.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the proposal team and management to ensure that all costs are captured and provide the customer with a competitive and compliant price proposal. The successful candidate will also be an integral member of the capture/proposal team assisting in the development of the pricing strategy, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements. This position will report to the company President.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop pricing strategies and models for government and industry contract proposals, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct cost and pricing analyses to support contract negotiations and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with business development, contracts, and finance teams to gather necessary data and ensure alignment between pricing and project goals.
- Prepare and present detailed pricing proposals, cost models, and related documentation for submission.
- Monitor and analyze contract pricing trends, market conditions, and competitive pricing.
- Ensure that all pricing activities and documents comply with internal policies, client requirements, and all regulatory guidelines.
- Provide pricing forecasts, variance analysis, and other ad hoc reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist in pricing audits and post-award contract administration to ensure accurate billing and cost tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in contract pricing, cost analysis, or financial analysis, preferably in the government contracting or defense industry.
- Strong understanding of government pricing regulations, including FAR and DFARS.
- Experience with EXPRESS, OASIS
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient with Microsoft Word (e.g., formatting, styles, headers/footers, tables, etc.) to produce compliant cost volumes.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills to produce accurate pricing files including Government pricing templates.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex pricing data.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in analyzing data calls / Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify potential risks and accurately interpret solicitation requirements across various contract types, including Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task orders, and General Services Administration (GSA) MAS schedules.
