We understand that our teammates are our most valuable assets, so we 'play together' by making every effort to provide a professional and enjoyable experience, enabling careers to flourish and personal growth to be achieved.What You'll DoPricing Analyst, Ocean Freight - The Pricing Analyst will assist sales in quoting new business and existing business.* Create quotes to present to customers* Request pricing from various vendors (steamship lines, truckers, warehouses, agents, etc)* Review margin analysis for sales account base* Provide continual follow up with new and existing clients with regards to margin review and account profitability* Review of the buy and sell rates through provided tools will be essential for this position to provide updates to management and other staff who have been determined to have a need to know about account profitability* Provide accurate and timely pricing quotes to sales, operations and direct to customers* Continual evaluation of industry trends and government regulations* Assist management in negotiating and finalizing deals.* Handle Customer complaints.* Assist with rate negotiation and familiarity of client products and services.* Other duties as assigned.What You'll Bring* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.* 1 year or more of Ocean Freight experience required* 1 year of customer service experience preferred* Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.* Basic geography knowledge preferred.
