Position Details: The Pricing and Profitability Manager will work closely with the firm's Partners, Pricing and Profitability Group Senior Manager and Finance Department to optimize value of our services to clients and execute on global strategy to maximize the Firm profitability. Pricing and Profitability Managers are viewed as trusted business advisors to the Legal and Account Teams by helping with pricing and budgeting in order to drive best results for our clients and the Firm. Reporting Relationships The Pricing and Profitability Manager will report directly to the Senior Pricing and Profitability Manager. Location: New York office/3 days a week in office Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the financial outcome of the Account by evaluating and constructing a value-based pricing protocol.
  • Identify opportunities to drive incremental profit and revenue.
  • Track and measure the financial performance by utilizing data analytics and gathering insights from case team.
  • Bring competitive and industry knowledge to help with decision making process on pricing and developing alternate fee structures.
  • Work with Account teams to develop and track budgets for their respective Accounts aligned with Firm's financial targets.
  • Support the Senior Pricing and Profitability Manager to mentor colleagues in the Pricing & Profitability team by assisting in the upskilling of team members knowledge and skillsets.
  • Support Partner and Account team to manage collection, credit and investment limits.
  • Provide training, by assisting in and leading formal training presentations, to both, Business Services and Fee-earner individuals and departments.
  • Understand and learn the Firm's best practices and benchmarks to support Account growth.
  • Along with Pricing and Profitability colleagues, continually review and update best practice documents, intranet knowledge 'how to' and information articles and presentations.
  • Collaborate with risk and business development departments to deliver integrated solution / service to the clients.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Legal Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Highly analytical with strong project management skills.
  • Law firm experience, knowledge of litigation process and common fee structures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Team-player with ability to collaborate across multicultural groups from across global location and levels of seniority.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to new situations and organizational need.
Company Description At the time of posting, the salary range for this role is $109,000 (minimum) - $150,000 (maximum). This range is based on a full-time work schedule. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus. The successful candidate's actual salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, licensure/certifications, training, skills, and market data.
