Job Summary

The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market share. This role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to set optimal prices for products and services. The Pricing Manager will work closely with the sales, marketing, R&D, and product development teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and enhance pricing models for large variety products and services.
  • Develop and implement pricing policies and structures that align with company objectives.
  • Identify and assess pricing opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and pricing dynamics.
  • Analyze competitor pricing strategies and market positioning.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback and purchasing patterns.
  • Perform financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
  • Monitor and report on pricing performance, including price realization and discount management.
  • Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop strategic pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to set prices for new products.
  • Communicate pricing strategies and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement pricing optimization tools and techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Test and refine pricing strategies based on market response and performance data.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Statistics or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA or PMP is a plus.
  • 5-7 years proven experience in Strategic Pricing, Revenue Management, Marketing, Sales, or Finance; experience in pricing strategy and analytics pricing management, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data science, modeling, pricing software and tools (e.g., pricing optimization software, CRM systems, Tableau).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
