Job Summary: The Pricing Manager will manage pricing strategy and outcomes for their assigned division(s). They will lead the process of determining and delivering customer pricing by understanding and utilizing the various tools we have in place.
Responsibilities: - In conjunction with General Managers, Regional Managers, Sales Center Managers, and BDR's, manages and implements individual customer pricing files, customer group pricing and any Catalog pricing that you are assigned to manage
- Trains Regional Managers, Sales Center Manager's and BDR's on PMM and how to make appropriate pricing decisions
- Analyzes pricing for division and ensures we are maximizing margin opportunities.
- Models pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
- Provides approval for customer pricing throughout the year.
- Sets pricing on new products by analyzing and understanding market dynamics and profit opportunities.
- Reviews low margin, margins in decline and price override reports and takes action where needed
- Ensures key pricing reports are reviewed by field leaders and appropriate action taken to correct root cause of any issues
- Conducts market research and intelligence gathering to help set appropriate pricing targets
- Assesses customer pricing adjustments made on a daily basis
- Works with other Pricing Managers to share best practices
- Works with branches and Data department to keep warehouse costs on commodities items up to date
- Assists branch and credit personnel with price group/new customer setup
- Maintains master/sub accounts for price consistency
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Education and Experience - Bachelor's Degree preferred in addition to three years' experience in similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience..
- Math Ability - Ability to perform business math (basic/intermediate statistics).
- Computer Skills - Intermediate to advance Strong Excel and Power-Bi experience preferred.
