Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: You will provide professional nursing services appropriate to individuals served by the program to which you are assigned. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform nursing assessments. • Participate in ITT process. • In-service training of staff, administration & supervision of effective infection control procedures. • Direct provision of wide range of nursing interventions. • Formulate and implement plans for health teaching/counseling of individuals and training of staff. • AMAP certifications and recertifications. • Provide oversight and hands on assistance, such as administering medications and treatments, providing tube feedings amongst other nursing related tasks. • Ensure that medical appointments are scheduled and attend medical appointments as needed.
