Primary Therapist- Contract at Rosewood summary: The Primary Therapist at Monte Nido Rosewood is responsible for providing individualized, group, and family therapy to patients with eating disorders. This role involves collaborating with families, outpatient providers, and insurance companies, as well as participating in discharge planning and offering therapeutic meal support. Candidates should have a master's degree in clinical counseling and relevant state licensure, along with experience in treating eating disorders and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Using a holistic and multidisciplinary approach, we treat patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorders, as well as co-occurring addictions and disorders. Responsibilities Include::
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy
  • Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
  • Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities Qualifications::
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
  • State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
