Our Prime Brokerage department has an immediate opening for a Manager to further grow our Prime Brokerage department. Our entrepreneurial culture will allow for tremendous autonomy that affords you the opportunity to develop and grow the business.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Source and manage prospective clients
  • Recruit, train, and supervise Sales Colleagues
  • Supervise Prime Broker activities and resolve issues as they arise
  • Develop, nurture, and cultivate existing client relations
  • Develop a personal style which supplements our current offerings
  • Grow revenue through cross selling initiatives (i.e. research, trading, etc.)
  • Meet with industry vendors (fund administrators, accountants, etc.) and establish referral network
  • Help brand Wedbush Prime in the investment community
  • Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Finance, or related field
  • FINRA Series 7, 63 or 66, 57, 9/10 or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Securities Industry experience
  • 3+ years of Prime Brokerage experience, preferably in management role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under supervision and tight deadlines
  • Must be free thinker, self-starter, and comfortable in a team environment

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $140,000-$260,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the individual and the firm's performance.
