This role is with the Bureau Data Strategy team, and supports a broad customer base in Card Data. The team is responsible for generating insights and extracting value from Bureau Data.This role exposes you to tech, modeling, product, and the US Card business teams and it involves: developing credit bureau data SME; creating insightful features from bureau data; developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with stakeholders; performing deep dive analysis on credit bureau data and presenting to senior LT members; and improving key production infrastructure.Our ideal candidate:Customer first. You have experience with clustering, classification, sentiment analysis, time series, and deep learning.A data guru. “Big data” doesn't faze you. You have the skills to retrieve, combine, and analyze data from a variety of sources and structures. You know understanding the data is often the key to great data science.Basic Qualifications:Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree plus 3 years in data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining PhD, with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.At least 1 year of experience in open source programming languages for large scale data analysis.At least 1 year of experience with machine learning.At least 1 year of experience with relational databases.Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in “STEM” field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) plus 3 years of experience in data analytics, or PhD in “STEM” field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).At least 3 years of experience with machine learning.At least 3 years of experience with Spark.At least 3 years of experience with SQL.At least 1 year of experience with AWS.At least 3 years of experience with Python, including Object Oriented Programming, unit testing, and design patterns.At least 3 years of experience with data storytelling and presenting to senior leadership.This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days.
