As a PrincipalBiostatistician, you will be responsible for:Developing and apply innovative statistical analysis and analyticsstrategies, in collaboration with internal and external partners, to supportproduct development and clinical validation of new medical diagnostics.Working cross-functionally with internal and external partners todeliver scientifically and statistically valid evidence obtained fromregistrational and non-registrational studies.Serving as a subject matter expert in statistical analysis of analyticaland clinical trials. Ensuring development of rigorous study designs andanalysis plans, define clear and attainable statistical and scientificendpoints that demonstrate value locally and globally; determine best ways topresent data to maximize interpretation and value to customers.Communicating findings to internal and external partners,regulatory and scientific communities; preparing manuscripts and publications;participating in internal and external meetings or forums to present insights.Contributing to external engagements with collaborators,consultants, thought leaders, advisory boards, congresses, and scientificmeetings. Staying current with advances in statistical methods,applications, and regulatory requirements.This position may suit you best if you are familiarwith what is below, and would like to do develop your career withHealthineersWork with collaborators and other personnel independently or withminimal supervision.Possess a solid understanding of the purpose, objectives, andgoals of collaborative clinical research.Collaborate with investigators to develop and perform statisticalanalyses of data from investigational protocols, post-hoc projects, andregistry databases. Study planning, statistical programming and analysis,interpretation and writing of results.Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations for scientificmeetings.Informal teaching and clear communication with collaborators andkey stakeholders regarding clinical research study statistics.Required skills to have for thesuccess of this rolePh.D. in Statistics with at least 10 years relevant experience.Prefer at least 6 years of that experience be within medical diagnosticindustry or biomarker research and development.Experience with FDA submission processes (510k, PMA, EUA) ispreferred.Strong knowledge and experience with clinical trial designs,statistical analysis methods and theory, clinical and laboratory datamanagement systems (eDC, LIMS) and statistical programming (R preferred). Can effectively applying innovative statistical solutions toscientific and business problem solving.Excellent interpersonal skills (oral and written communication,influence, collaboration, presentation). Must be fluent in English.Candidate must be able to work legally in theUnited States.
