Who You'll Work With

Our Business Advisory Services team helps organizations redefine what's possible, give shape to the future-and get there. What You'll Do

This role plays a large part in researching, designing, and delivering solutions that improve organizational performance and achieve business outcomes. It expands Slalom's footprint with clients through both outstanding client service and sales pursuit delivery for our Pacific Southwest clients. The primary role is to understand the client's business needs and challenges, design and implement solutions that address those business challenges, and deliver the needed outcomes to achieve business objectives. We are open to hiring this role at either the Principal or Senior Consultant level, based on experience.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Slalom team members and senior client stakeholders on the below:

* Facilitate ideation workshops with key stakeholders to explore new opportunities, generate innovative solutions, and co-create strategic roadmaps that outline clear priorities, timelines, and milestones to achieve long-term business objectives

* Develop comprehensive business cases by assessing market opportunities, estimating potential ROI, analyzing costs and benefits, and aligning proposed initiatives with strategic priorities to support data-driven decision-making and secure stakeholder buy-in

* Design and deliver organizational design and operating model programs and projects (e.g., products and services, structures, capabilities, processes, performance metrics, governance, change management, communications, training, etc.)

* Deliver projects independently, or by leading a team, to successfully deliver programs and projects for our clients

* Serve as a trusted advisor and regularly engage with senior/executive client stakeholders (e.g., lead meetings, workshops, presentations, status updates, etc.) to manage program/project delivery progress and stakeholder expectations

* Shape and lead the development of pursuits to win new project work and SOWs with clients across the Pacific Southwest market

* Continuously expand knowledge of the industries and clients that we serve

* Manage a team of Consultants to continually grow their capabilities, conduct performance management responsibilities, and ensure that they are utilized on projects that expand their skills and experience

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 7+ years of professional consulting experience with:

* Leading strategic ideation sessions and developing data-driven business cases that align initiatives with organizational goals and demonstrate clear value propositions

* Organizational design, operating model, and/or human capital management programs and projects for the full life-cycle (i.e., project identification, scoping, sales, discovery, delivery, iteration, transition)

* Developing, leading, and delivering client pursuits and proposals to win programs/projects

* Delivering projects using Agile methodology and/or working in an Agile environment

* Delivering client-focused solutions that leverage the latest tools and practices (e.g., generative AI to accelerate solution delivery)

* Communication (verbal and written), presentation, and executive stakeholder engagement skills

* Analytical and problem-solving skills and experience

* Experience in working in multiple industries (e.g., financial services, health care and life sciences, public sector, manufacturing, food services, etc.) for multiple clients

* Experience with people management and the ability to lead and inspire team members

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $120,000 to $186,000 for Senior Consultant and $133,000 to $206,000 for Principal. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
