Roles and Responsibilities: Under supervision, maintains a capital project portfolio of projects, and works with other Construction Management personnel to evaluate and implement goals, responsibilities, policies and procedures related to schedule and resource management of projects. Performs enterprise and project scheduling, administration management, audit management, forensic scheduling and integration of operational management plans and resources. Assists in the preparation of cost estimates based on scheduling observations and information. Under supervision, monitors and evaluates the overall program schedule of projects; closely coordinating and monitoring the schedules of consultants, shareholders and contractors working for the Agency. Under supervision, provides scheduling support in the evaluation of proposed contract changes, operations and services; may make recommendations regarding observed issues and conflicts. Under supervision, analyzes a contractor's construction schedule(s) to identify any duration or logistic issues, reviews time impact due to proposed changes, and provides support for construction claims and change orders. Prepares or oversees the preparation of reports, memoranda and correspondence, as required. Education, Experience, and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical fields Two (2) to four (4) years of construction management and/or scheduling experience. Required: Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) required. Preferred: Some experience with scheduling software such as Oracle Primavera P6, or similar. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: EIT certificate or PE license, preferred but not required. Working Environment: Some field visits to active construction sites, and or field offices/trailers may be required.
