Position Overview:Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant with Quality Engineering experience. In this role, you will act as a domain consultant, validation and quality assurance expert, and review the business functionality of existing systems. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables. As a thought leader in your domain, you will be the key advisor to architecture and design reviews. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, and in-house capability building. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design, and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios, collaborating with top talent in the industry to create innovative, high-quality, and defect-free solutions.

Qualifications Basic:• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.• At least 11 years of experience with IT and quality engineering.• Location for this position is Raleigh, NC. This position may require 25-30% travel.• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications:• Requirement gathering and documentation for detailed requirements with impact analysis and high-level prototype.• Design document preparation based on the signed requirement document.• Resource planning for implementation and estimated effort to be shared with business.• Test strategy and test plan preparation with all required test cases and steps to be performed.• Requirement traceability matrix preparation to map requirements with design and test cases.• Test Automation Framework solution development for various platforms/devices and OS.• Functional and Non-functional QE solutions.• Regular status review meetings to ensure the project is on track.• Detailed progress reports on build activities shared with managers and business.• Presentations and demos as required with stakeholders.• Design holds architecture and system level changes with required diagrams and flow charts.• Regular client interaction and demonstrations on implementations.• Technical problem solving and root cause identification.• Post-deployment support and performance monitoring.• Test management, automation management, team management, release management, and production environments.• Good thought leadership and collaboration.• Ability to work in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.• Ability to work with client business and IT teams to ensure quality testing delivery.• Agile software testing experience.• Possess good analytical skills.• Experience in utilities domain is a plus.• Excellent communication and client interfacing skills.

Job Requirements:The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per job requirements.
