Principal Cybersecurity Architect (Security Tool/CIS Hardening) - 100% remote (EST hours)

Optomi, in partnership with an international client that dominates the healthcare and pharma space is looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Architect over risk to help with system hardening & tooling initiatives across the enterprise. The Principal Cybersecurity Risk Architect will help define benchmarks that are based on industry standards. The Principal Cybersecurity Risk Architect will start by evaluating security tooling, work with the ISO team to understand any gaps in the tooling/environment, and assist with researching new tools they are looking to bring on.

Additionally, this person will evaluate tools they should bring on in the future and help to mature tooling across the enterprise . Someone who has grown up through technical roles in the security engineering space and/or has consulting experience with exposure to different security tools will be a great fit for this position. CIS Benchmark knowledge/experience is a must.

What the right candidate will have:

• 5+ years experience working in the Infrastructure and/or networking space with some knowledge of system hardening
• 3-5+ years working in the cybersecurity or information security space
• At least 1-2+ years working as an architect assessing gaps within a security program, tooling, and/or systems/applications with previous experience working as an engineer
• Experience with CIS Controls
• Experience defining system hardening benchmarks and evaluating cyber tools
• Experience working in various environments and making suggestions around security gaps within the posture
• Extensive knowledge around various security control frameworks
• Experience looking at an environment at a high level and providing road maps and solutions to mature security programs
