Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Purpose:You will provide electrical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the electrical engineering team. The purpose is to manage a team of electrical engineers and designers and oversee their work on oil, gas, and chemical projects.Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of electrical engineers and designers and oversee their work on oil/gas/chemical projects.
- Plan, organize, and direct engineering work, ensuring on-time completion, safety-in-design, and quality outcomes from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with project management, clients, and other disciplines to meet project objectives.
- May lead one or more projects while providing guidance for other lead engineers within the program.
- Maintain relationships with project management and clients to ensure satisfaction with the quality and progress of the project.
- Communicate effectively (written, emails, verbal) with the team and management, and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver electrical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
- Initiate, manage, and if required supervise electrical engineering project requirements.
- Perform electrical engineering services such as participating in relevant meetings, preparing progress reports, and following required checking procedures.
- Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- If required, act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
- Outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, assigning tasks, and supervising progress.
- Ensure the required services meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
- Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and its customer's requirements.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in electrical engineering.
- If required, assist and support junior personnel within the electrical engineering team.
- Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and seek assistance when required.What you will bring:Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its clients.
- Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of electrical engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software, ETAP, PSCAD, SPL.
- Development and design of electrical distribution systems, equipment selection, protective relay selection, and power management system configuration.
- Perform/review power systems studies and protective device settings.
- Extensive technical and practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.Additional Information:

- A recognized and relevant BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.Preferred:
