KLA is looking for a Principal Electron-Optics Research Scientist in our Chief Technology Office in Milpitas, CA!

  • Expertise in Electron Optics including Optical System design; Lens Design; and Tolerance Analysis of Complex Optical Systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of high voltage electronics.
  • Extensive knowledge in surface science of electron-surface interactions.
  • Extensive knowledge in design and modelling of ultra-high vacuum systems.
  • Develop and/or provide significant input to the top-level system specifications, sub-system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware solution.
  • Stay up to date on related external research and developments.
  • Collaborate with CTO team to develop new suppliers and research partners when appropriate.
  • Ability to work in a clean room environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 15 years.
