Overview TRC is seeking a Market Director for our southeast region. This role requires a strong background in business development, technical expertise, and financial acumen. The successful candidate will have a solid reputation for building and maintaining key client relationships. The Market Director will report to the Operations Manager in our Greenville office, with a specific focus on the Southeast. Proximity to industrial and manufacturing facilities or corporate headquarters is advantageous. Responsibilities Lead team selling of $1.5M+ yearly Net Revenue of environmental compliance, engineering, and remediation services to new and existing clients. Perform in a 80% Seller/20% Doer business model Identify and develop new business opportunities, and delivery of responsive, high quality services for to the environmental sector (e.g., air, water, waste water, storm water, sustainability, and remediation). Develop client sales through direct client contact with a goal to capture new and follow-on work, expand TRC service offerings, and support TRC value propositions. Work with project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings, and help to maintain strong relationships with key planning leaders within the Southeast/Mid-Atlantic region. Participate in strategic growth initiatives to expand TRCs client and delivery footprint across the southeast Review RFQs and assist in preparing proposals. Qualifications Demonstrated track record in client development in an environmental consulting/ engineering and/or environmental construction management services business model. Candidates should have a network of client contacts in the Southeast market, and possess strong business development and project management skills. Extensive experience working with manufacturing and industrial clients. Demonstrated success selling and delivering environmental compliance and/or investigation and remediation services through a consulting/engineering firm in Southeast region. Ability to interface well with and develop a rapport and positive relationship with our clients and employees. Bachelors in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field of study at a minimum with a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience Demonstrated experience in preparing proposals and managing work. Strong communications skills both written and oral. Effective in developing and making presentations to potential clients, especially in conference settings. Staff management or operational experience is a plus. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
