We are currently seeking a Principal Flow Assurance Engineer - Subsea, reporting directly to the Study Manager to join our Subsea team based in Houston, Texas. About the Job: The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will provide flow assurance support across a range of oil and gas projects. The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will have demonstrated knowledge of applied flow assurance skills including the modeling of steady state and transient behavior in multiphase flow systems. Will be expected to manage studies related to hydrates, asphaltenes, wax, scale, and corrosion inhibition. Of key importance is the understanding of fluid physical properties and transport properties generation and tuning against experimental data to perform accurate predictions. About You We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
  • Master of Science (PhD preferred) with a minimum of 10 years' experience within E&P Industry
  • Emphasis in the area of flow assurance, in the deepwater subsea environment or offshore and onshore flow assurance.
  • Previous experience in R&D related to flow assurance is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience with all flow assurance modeling tools including Olga, Pipesim and PVTSim is required.
  • Pipe2012, Stoner, ScaleChem, FlowMaster, experience is a plus.
  • Should have had experience in estimating and creating execution plans for Flow Assurance work scopes.
  • Strong written and communicational skills are essential.
  • Candidate should be able to perform most of the flow assurance activities without much supervision.
  • Candidate should have demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Must be a self-starter and committed to team success.
  • Candidate should have strong problem solving abilities to come up with creative solutions.
