Vestwell is looking for a dedicated and self-motivated Principal, People (HR) Business Partnership to join our People Team. We are building a team of world class talent and are looking for an organizational powerhouse who can collaborate with multiple internal teams and stakeholders. You will manage our full employee life-cycle, including onboarding, and internal operations. As the Principal, HRBP for the Sales & Marketing Organization which consists of State Savings, Workplace Savings, and Marketing teams, you will have a front-row seat and a direct impact on our next growth phase. You will manage the successful partnership and collaboration of the Sales Teams and the People Team. What will you be doing?
- Serves as a crucial point of contact between employees from the organizations you support and leadership
- Owns entry to mid-level employee relations and serves as a guide to navigate internal conversations, mitigate risk, and facilitate conflict resolution
- Supports the strategic development and delivery of initiatives and projects that enhance the People Team vision and mission to inform, inspire, and include all Vestwellers
- Manage all People Operations functions, such as onboarding / offboarding, benefit & compensation administration, and time off requests
- Support the maintenance of compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
- Partner with peers within the People Team including but not limited to, People Services, Learning & Development, Workplace Experience, and Recruitment, to deliver on team-specific trainings and workshops as needed
- Partner with the Recruitment team to identify critical hiring needs, sourcing, and providing insight into potential employee changes for proactive recruitment
- Facilitate and support performance reviews and internal mobility for Vestwellers and ensure that they are set up for growth and development
- Consistently and continuously updates and maintains our internal documentation process for accuracy and posterity
- Maintains the integrity of employee data across People Team software and platforms including but not limited to Rippling, Sparrow, Eden, etc.
- Delivers insightful recommendations through detailed reporting and people analytics to support ongoing initiatives and enable growth and development at the Company
Requirements
Necessities
- 4-6 years of Human Resources / People Operations experience
- Experience supporting sales and high-growth deals
- Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics
- High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
- Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization

The expected base salary range for this position is $100K - $130K. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas.
