The Project Manager will be primarily responsible for initial development and continuous management of the Knolls Site Soil and Ground Covering Program. Responsibilities include developing resource loaded schedules to characterize soil and ground covering for upcoming construction and capital projects, developing a project plan to categorize other areas of the Knolls Laboratory, providing annual updates to the Knolls Site Soil and Ground Covering characterization plan, cataloging soil and ground covering data and reports, and updating the Knolls Site Soil Map. Management of projects will encompass all phases from identification of requests from end users through release report approval, including engineering of the characterization plan, execution of sampling, and analysis of samples.Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; orMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.Preferred Skills Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6. Demonstrated ability to produce a Project Management Plan, execute projects, and use other project management tools and principles. Experience executing NNL projects using Corporate Procedures and Instructions. Understanding of Environmental, Safety, and Health requirements for inclusion into projects. Understanding of Radiological requirements for inclusion into projects. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time. Understanding of soil characterization/sampling for inclusion into long term site characterization strategy.
