Qilu Pharmaceuticals is a leading pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical company in China, with 3 innovation centers in the US. We are seeking US Boston - based experienced and self-motivated professionals to join our RNA therapy team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the drug discovery group and will lead efforts of advancing siRNA therapeutics to treat intractable diseases including liver, extrahepatic, and neurological indications This role will support multiple programs throughout their life cycle to improve processes and de-risk at each critical stage. Primary Responsibilities - Oversee multiple programs to develop siRNA therapeutics, from target identification to declaration of development candidates - Staying current with the competitive landscape for RNA-based therapeutics, including siRNA, ASO, and related disciplines, as well as other modalities in relevant disease areas - Identification and assessment of new target-indication pairs and existing opportunities for internal development or licensing opportunities - Comply with appropriate SOPs; train associates to meet requirements; present research findings to project teams, governance bodies, or external meetings. - Effectively communicate across all organizational levels, including regular project update meetings to key stakeholders - On-site and remote management of direct reports to facilitate project goals and go-no go decisions Qualifications - PhD in biology, pharmacology, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, preferably in the context of oligonucleotide research - Deep understanding of underlying biology of siRNA/RNAi and related disciplines, including PK/PD relationships - Extensive experience conducting preclinical POC studies in the context of liver, extrahepatic tissues, and/or CNS - CRO and remote management of global resources, ranging from costing, execution, and interpretation of results in a timely manner - Excellent verbal and communication skills in both English and Chinese - Project management, leadership, and commitment to the highest quality data and best possible results - Outstanding organizational and time management skills and must be a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
