The Role:
Generate Biomedicines is looking for a highly experienced and motivated Principal Scientist to join the multidisciplinary Protein Analytics & Biophysics team. The candidate will lead efforts in evaluating protein-protein binding interactions using a repertoire of biochemical and biophysical technologies such as Biacore, Carterra, Octet, KinExA and Gyrolab to better enable Generate Biomedicines' machine learning-powered platform and rapidly advance biotherapeutics through the pipeline. The position will focus on target validation, screening, assay optimization, rigorous kinetic analysis and solution equilibrium measurements. The successful candidate will apply fundamental biomolecular interaction analysis principles and develop novel methodologies to support data-driven, high-throughput and modality-agnostic workflows. The individual will have the opportunity to train and mentor a talented team of scientists and serve as a subject matter expert within project teams in pushing the boundaries of generative biology.
