JLS Job Requirement for:*Principal Systems Engineer*Location: Dulles, VA (Hybrid)*Job Description*:Serve as a Systems Engineer on a mission critical development and sustainment programAssess, design, and develop automated cloud-based requirements and architecturesDevelop requirements and System Engineering (SE) artifactsProvide SE expertise and project leadership for a large cybersecurity systemCoordinate teams in the dev., int., and testing of advanced leading-edge cybersecurityInterface directly with the Customer, stakeholders, and end-users regarding:* Priorities, capability architectures, requirements, use cases, and stories to derive* Develop and decompose next-cycle updates and specificationsRepresent the voice of the user in developmentCollaborate within Agile Release Trains and Agile TeamsSupport risk assessments and developing risk mitigation countermeasures*Qualifications*:Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability10+ years of directly relevant systems engineering experience* Allocation of hardware and software requirements* Development of use cases and stories* Detailed design of system components* Direct automation / orchestration experience with larger systems6+ years direct experience with Google cloud deployment and management toolsProven leadership skills and meaningful experience successfully leading large teamsExperience working in an Agile development environment in a leadership rolePossesses knowledge of Gov. Information Security policies, regulations, and guidelinesExpertise in automation of infrastructure - deployment, configuration, and orchestrationExperience with scripting in JSON, YAML, HCL, Python, and/or bash/PSHExperience with scripting in CloudFormation/ TerraformBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Comp.
