Job Summary:

Test Engineering is a team focusing on the strategic development, consolidation, and support of the Test Engineering group of onsemi. The team is central in the organization of the international network of Design and Test teams responsible for a wide range of markets: automotive, industrial, medical, mobile, computing, etc.

The Principal Test Engineer, as part of the team, will be exposed to the multiple aspects of managing testing technologies: Design-for-Test, BIST, analog defect simulations, test techniques, ATE platforms, etc.

This position involves tactical and strategic activities, aiming at improving the working ways of the Design and Test organizations. The Engineer is offered the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in Testing and Design-for-Test, but also to tackle more high-level topics to positively impact the company

The role focuses on two main work packages. First, the position supports the Design and Test teams in their definition of new strategic products so that the quality and manufacturing efficiency can be secured. Secondly, the position focuses on the consolidation and integration of Test Engineering within the Manufacturing and Production systems. This includes multiple areas:

* Testing Production Environment: Statistical Post-Processing Tools (DPAT, GDBN, etc.), Validations, etc. in collaboration with IT

* Develop and integrate our Design and Test Environment in collaboration with R&D
