Summary of Position: Serves as an enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative information technology educator who is adept in both instructional design and training delivery. Responsible for supporting the IT&S training program and its goals, including creating synchronous and asynchronous content, curriculum and materials maintenance, schedule coordination, ILT facilitation, and service request response. In conjunction with the application analyst teams, equips end users for successful Epic (or other software) deployment, adoption, maintenance, and optimization activities. Familiar with both end-user workflows and cultivates an awareness of the backend build that allows for this functionality. Interfaces with and serves as liaison to operational customers who leverage or her respective applications. In an ongoing effort to identify training needs and address them, regularly rounds in their operational departments, engage in division and analyst meetings, and embed themselves in project team activities. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Formal Education Required: A. bachelor's degree in education, information technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 2. Experience & Training Required: a. Four (4) years of experience including education and training experience on computer-related software applications and experience working with personal computers, educational training databases, and direct experience with education b. Achievement of Epic Certification within first 6 months of employment c. Existing credential in an Epic application preferred d. Instructional design experience preferred 3.
