Onin Staffing is currently hiring for a Printing Feeder Operator for 2nd shift. You must have a mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot the machine.
The feeder maintains the efficiencies of the printing department. The feeder works as a team to set up and run the Printing Press and works at the direction of the Pressman. The feeder preps loads to feed via use of the aerator. The Feeder is responsible for ensuring that the press machine is kept running consistently and for following the direction of the Pressman to run at maximum speed.
Hours: 2:30pm - 1:00am Monday-Thursday
$15-17 Depending on Experience
Feeding a printing press.
Aerating board on an aerator.
Set-up and Run the feeder.
Assist press operator with cleaning press and cylinders and removal of plates.
Maintain chemicals and rags on press.
Monitor coating process.
Monitor ink wells.
Gather press supplies to help the press operator run the machine efficiently.
Monitor the flow of the paper, checking and clearing paper jams.
Follow quality and safety guidelines and company policies.
Assist Pressman in operator level maintenance.
