We are looking for a Print Operator to support our rapidly growing company that serves many different industries. In this role, this candidate will be responsible for all aspects of label printing and some sign production, which includes topical graphic design/layout, preparing graphics for print, preparing substrates, running prints on our wide/flat-bed printers, and assuring the highest quality products are presented for our customers. If you enjoy the manufacturing side of design and have novice to intermediate design skills, we'd like to meet you.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of Flexo, UV Varnishand Digital Press
- Operate wide format printer or digital press
- Mimaki wide format printer experience a plus
- Label/Sticker, Packaging Print Production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
- Assist in maintaining equipment
- Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
- Maintain daily accurate production logs, includes work volumes, output, and materials used on jobs completed
- Review work orders for accuracy and verify materials required for set up of appropriate press machines
- Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better at the job
Qualifications
- Background in commercial digital printers
- Knowledge of sign materials and substrates
- Strong computer and file management skills including Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong math skills for measuring, pricing, etc
- Must understand how to read a ruler
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with coworkers, customers, and vendors
Bonus Experience
- Knowledge of Sign Industry Software
- Other machinery knowledge
- Portfolio with label/packaging experience
