Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Follow and comply with applicable good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices.•Verify quality control items such as product weights, coding, packaging, GMP's etc.•Maintain proper documentation in all record-keeping formats•Serve as relief/support staff to machine operators throughout the print and packaging department.•Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as needed.•Backfill to other positions/departments as needed.•Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:•Attention to detail and good organizational skills.•Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and the processes involved.•Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment.•Basic understanding of equipment operations, and minor troubleshooting ability.•Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency.•Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and company guidelines in order to maintain regulatory compliance.•Able to understand daily production needs.•Demonstrate the Qualified Individuals responsibilities for the Preventative Control - Cleaning and Sanitation Program.Education/Experience:•High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).•Food manufacturing, material handling, and forklift operation experience is preferred.Category Manufacturing Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Location West Point Dairy Products (Alcam) Shift Various Shifts Pay:Hiring BonusBenefits Competitive compensation, health, dental and life insurance; Short-term disability; Profit sharing plan with 401(k) enhancement, matched EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
