Job Overview:

TMA has an immediate need for a Print Producer/Manager with an Experiential background based in the DFW area who will work on our Armed Forces client. Candidate must be a strategic leader with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet stringent deadlines with a do what it takes attitude, anticipate, and solve problems, provide positive conflict resolution, successfully delegate project responsibilities while retaining shared accountability for results. Experience with managing vendor relationships and solid knowledge of experiential marketing is required. The ideal candidate must understand and direct assigned projects from conception, production, delivery and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Print Producer with an Experiential background to help manage art and experiential production projects to ensure timely delivery and flawless quality within budgetary considerations.

* Manage premium procurement, other print related projects and distribution across all 54 states and territories for an Armed Services client.

* Help manage and support the Creative, Project Management and Account departments in communication, problem-solving and research.

* Actively assess agency processes and business challenges to improve outcomes.

* Establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors.

* Analyze project estimates and specifications for correctness to create clear purchase orders for projects.

* Actively seek ways to realize cost efficiencies.

* Manage vendor production flow and proofing process.

* Troubleshoot issues and offer knowledgeable solutions.

* Provide accounting staff with accurate information to speed up client billing process.

* Stay organized while handling multiple priorities at once.

* Support other experiential related projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

* 5 years of relevant traditional print and/or experiential agency experience.

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.

* Strong knowledge of complete production process, from schedules and estimates through delivery and execution results.

* Strong understanding of multiple print production processes (i.e. offset, digital, large format, laser engraving embroidery), art and premium buying, and project management.

* Ability to multi-task and be solution oriented in problem-solving within an integrated agency team environment.

* Understanding and applying client brand guidelines when reviewing vendor proofs against mechanical files.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to guide employees in other departments toward a better understanding of the production process.

* Excellent communication, organizational and follow-through skills.

* Must be a collaborative team player with great initiative.

* Strong vendor negotiation and relationship building experience a must.

* Proficient in MAC applications including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Express.

* Working knowledge of InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel.

* Must be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure with numerous deadlines, sometimes outside of traditional business hours.

* Ability to travel up to 20%
