We would love to have you come join the party.About Our OpportunityWe are seeking safety minded team members with an attention to detail for our state of the art, printing department on 1st shift (7A - 3P). The Printer is required to operate a printing press (Napkins). The Printer is relied upon to produce a product that meets established quality standards by printing to proof.Responsibilities
- Preparing the press for scheduled runs.
- Mounting raw plate, napkin or label stock to the press.
- Determining formulation of inks needed for printer and transferring them into printing stations.
- Making correct pressure adjustments for printing cylinders to attain necessary print.
- Ensuring correct alignment of web.
- Accomplishing any necessary adjustments during the run.
- Removing finished roll from rewind stand at completed run.
Qualifications
- Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.
- Ability to determine colors.
- High school diploma or general education degree required.
- Printing experience no required - will train.
- Prior machine operation experience required.
- Prior manufacturing experience required.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
