Position Overview

The Printing Press Operator is responsible for feeding and operating our Offset, Lithographic Sheet-fed Printing Presses.

Responsibilities

• Performing on-press make readies, and set up and operation of printing presses• Troubleshooting and making press adjustments as needed• Communicating with and instructing the Printing Press Feeder• Following work instructions and procedures in place for each job• Maintaining press cleanliness• Ensuring product conformance to specifications• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Quality conscious individual• Good communication skills• Mechanical aptitude• Basic computer skills• Ability to differentiate colors• Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work• Knowledge/experience in printing preferred - experience with Offset printing, and Lithographic Printing Presses a plus
