Spherion, in partnership with our client in Madelia, MN is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their family-owned, production team as a Press Operator. This is a full-time position, on 1st shift, offering OT and GREAT pay! NOTE: to be considered, candidates MUST have previously press operating experience.Responsibilities:Efficient setup and operation of a Heidelberg press, focusing on meeting specifications in product quality, safety, and effective management of material and product wasteWorking with a team, collectively ensuring the press is stocked with all necessary materials that enable focus on the art of producing the labelsProviding leadership in areas of Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, ISO quality systems, innovation, and current systems technologySupporting and contributing to an innovative culture, striving to create and develop new products for our customersSkills:Ability to think through mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-makingEffective time management on multiple long- and short-term projects, meeting all related deadlinesInterpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalitiesAbility to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organizationQualifications:High School diploma or equivalentMechanical aptitudeOne or more years in printing, ideallyDon't wait, apply today!Spherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
